Saturday, 12th August 2017 – 7:30pm

at The Lamb Theatre, High Street, Eastbourne, BN21 1HH

“Looks like GRP have another smash hit production on their hands. This Wide Night is a surprisingly tender, darkly humorous and desperately poignant exploration of two very different yet connected women struggling to find their place in the world since leaving prison. ‘Lorraine’ the likeable Scottish matriarch is superbly portrayed by Sandra Cheesman with an impeccable accent and strong presence which give her character spirit and warmth. The relationship reignited with ‘Marie’, sensitively and totally convincingly portrayed by Samantha Jay Steer, is utterly absorbing. The darker side of life is laid bare in this production but there’s a rawness and honesty in the characters which makes you root for them from the very start.”

After the performance on Friday July 28th there will be a Q&A opportunity with the cast and directors.
